At first its kind of weird because of the lopsidedness of the teeth but it actually cuts very well and have never cut my kids skin with it, its definitely a must for new parents.

I was so nervous to cut my daughter's nails; I'd read too many stories about parents accidentally nipping their baby's fingers. But after she scratched her face for, like, the fourth time, I knew I had to do it.
With these clippers, it was extremely easy to do! There's a cut out in the upper "blade" so you can see exactly where you're cutting. Also, these clippers work more like scissors. They don't meet one on top of the other (creating the perfect way to nip skin); rather, they cross one in front of the other...like scissors.
I know some people suggest Emory boards to file their baby's nails instead, but I think these clippers are easier & maybe even safer to use.

I have used these for my son since he was a baby. They are easy to use, rounded to prevent cutting the skin and don’t leave the nails ragged or sharp. Plus there’s a viewing window so you can see what you are clipping. I honestly use these on myself too. They are fantastic

I have purchased 3 of these I love them so much. I like how it operates a little more like scissors than clippers, smoothly cuts nails but easy to tell the difference in resistance when you are too close to skin.
