I don't know hair types, but I have a lot of hair not thick but straight/wavy that tangles easy. This brush glides through easily and my hair looks great in seconds. My husband has curly hair and he uses this for both his beard and head. We bought our first brush awhile back-this is our second brush so we each have one when we need it! Worth a try if you're unsure of those ticktok shop ads.

I bought this for my 3 year old who cried every time I even discussed brushing her hair. She does not make one fuss when I use this. I've used it on both wet and dry hair and it works quickly and painlessly on both. It leaves her hair so soft and silky when I use it on her dry hair. Cannot recommend this enough!

As someone who used to be very rough on my hair until recently I can tell you that you can definitely still snag with this brush IF you try to force it on the first brush. If you feel a knot or snag with this brush STOP and go over that area again LIGHTLY MULTIPLE TIMES and you'll feel the snag disappear or at least get smaller. I toss and turn a lot during the night so my hair can be terrible when i wake up and while no hair brush is magic and works every. single. time. using the aforementioned method with this brush has drastically reduced the amount of snags I used to have with my rigid bristle brush that would refuse to yield to snags and either stop or yank the snag. Good product and has reduced my anxiety about further damaging my hair during grooming.

Even with detangler it still doesn’t go through the knots in my toddlers fine hair. I hoped this would be the brush to really help brush her hair pain free and without fights over brushing her hair. It does work really well in my hair making it nice and smooth
