The Sassy Fruit Fill n' Spill has textural fruits, learn each fruit’s shape and color, and fill up the container to spill out the contents. Filling & spilling is a developmentally appropriate activity for baby to practice fine motor skills. As baby grows, use the lid as to challenge baby to push the fruits through the elastic bands. The fruits are textured and soft for baby to mouth and explore for tactile development.
Play at each stage!
- 6+ Months: Remove the top from the fruit bin. Babies love to “put in” and dump out and repeat, over and over again which helps baby to build important brain connections through repetition.
- 9+ Months: Place the lid on the container. Baby can place the shapes through the stretchy straps. This action is helping to build fine motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination. As with the fill and spill, baby will repeat this action building new brain connections.
- 12+ Months: As baby places the shapes through the elastic bands, adults can name each fruit and identify the different colors. Repetition helps baby learn.
